I have been away from the 4x4 scene for years now.... back in the day I used to wheel a ranger, and did a lot with many of the New England region clubs...but now have turned to racing subarus in my free time. I have a wide variety of projects, and still have my old truck I used to wheel, in need of a complete overhaul. I see a few trucks in town with SIS decals, good to see the forums and club is still alive.
Some pics of the projects...
"The Ugly Panda" currently in another motor upgrade.
Cagework by Dave over at 137 Fabrication...
The 73 bug
The 53
and the ranger...
which needs a ton of work, plans are to scrap the cab, scrap the whole front suspension/front end, and go tubular with a straight axle, along with a 302 swap from an old mustang I parted out last year. I miss wheeling so it would be nice to have a 4x4 again to play with.
Lots of projects, not a lot of money. I have to focus on one build at a time or else nothing will be running...Once the subaru is running again it will be time to get working on the correcting the ranger.
