Hello everyone!
I found this site while looking for a thread on Heavymetal's build. I saw the truck featured in Crawl and was digging that it is a local truck.
I have been wheeling for a couple years now and really think it is a great combination of all the other motorized sports I have done in the past. I used to drift, drag, autox, track days, and rallyx.
Here are a couple shots of my jeeps. Green one is gone now and I currently run the purple one.
I don't have much lift so I get stuck on stuff that is too agressive for my truck.
I have a loving wife with a great sense of humor and kids that dig offroading so it is all fun. You can see her enjoying getting the truck on a stump that I didn't see on the side of pizza rock. I got over it in the green truck lol.
I finally got the cash together to install some shocks so now the truck flexes more. It just leads me into getting in more trouble.
Its about a 2.5" lift up front and a 3" (in theory) lift in the rear. I am running a shacklebox and terraflex shackle in the rear and ACOS up front. 5100 series shocks and barpin eliminators.
This picture listed the right truck at my current lift/tire combo and the left at 5" with 35" tires.
So that is my goal minus the full width axles. I drove to VA for a pair of axles and came home with a curry 9 front axle and a ford 8.8. I got a set of tnt longarms used uninstalled off a dude on craigslist from upstate NY.
So now I am just saving/researching my options. Its funny I used to hang out on a CT based suby site now I am here on a CT based Jeep site lol.
