well ill probably be driving it more in the winter so i think itd be a little safer with them in. i know some people daily drive without them but i also heard that highway driving is really bad without them so i figured discos would be my best bet.

any good sites to get performance/replacement parts for the 2.5?

performance and 2.5L dont get along.

save your money and just re-gear (and get a better rear axle). getting the correct gear ratio for the tire size you run will be crucial with that motor.

i would say if your going 4" lift just get 33's . buy a ford 8.8 for the rear and get rid of the vacuum disco for the front axle (1 piece shaft). gear and lock the axles and be done with it.

and trust me, sprung under yj's dont need sway bars

i wasnt going to do any serious performance mods. maybe the 4.0 tb swap with a custom intake and an exhaust to let her breath easy. i dont need this thing to fly down the highway or race anyone in lol i dump enough money into my car for mods to do that.

33's sound pretty good to me. whats with the vacuum disco for the front axle? and by lock the axles you mean..? sorry if these are newb questions, im not used to the jeep/offroading world yet lol

and ill try taking the sways out as well and see how i like it, worst comes to worst ill just put them back in with discos.
