So, sat i went out to hang with some friends at d&d, parked the jeep on a bit of a curb, and when i went to leave the jeep started and died. Pulled it with my buddies truck to his shop up the road and pulled the fuel pump assembly, bench tested it, and it works, put it in, and it starts, but only runs for about 20 seconds. Fuel pressure is good, new fuel pump/filter, and tps. Holds decent fuel pressure, but when you hold the throttle open, it seems to run out of fuel and stall. When i turn the key, i can't hear the fuel pump turn on and doesn't get pressure until the engine starts to crank.
I think it's a electrical issue because none of the light turn on when i start the jeep. Could this be a computer problem? if so how can i try to fix it? and where is the cpu on it.
This is a 1989 jeep cherokee 4.0.
