so after killing my blue 93, i picked up a 96 xj 4.0 aw4 d30/8.25 with 120,000 on it for $500. it looked just like everyone's when they first got them, small, low, goofy looking. it needed a new radiator, water pump, power steering pump, and of course a lift kit and tires. so after fixing all that stuff, i went ahead and lifted it.

next, i grew tired of my spacers up front and my pro comp shocks that i got for free. so i went to the junkyard to see what i could grab, and found these rubicon express 3" shocks and coils.(i wouldve grabbed the rears too but someone beat me to it.)

then i got some f150 shocks for the rear, along with homemade bpe's out of old swaybar endlinks.

    gots my hood vents in

    threw in my cb

put on my roofrack, along with picking up 5 new 33" x 12.50" bfg a/ts

took it wheeling and pulled a hux/will. (slid off some rocks into a tree) and this is how it sits now.

I cleaned it the other day so ill get some pics up of what it looks like without all the mud on it. i just put a new alternator, belt, wires, heater control valve, and cadillac fan clutch on it. (the caddy clutch was more of a temp/trail fix than anything but, whatever)

plans: picking up a 29 spline 8.25 with a detroit in it soon
getting a welder for xmas so hopefully ill be making armor
    locked front(eventually)
    new floor pans
solid bumpers? homemade? towpoints? still havent made up my mind yet.
    cutting/plating lcas/new lcas
beefing up factory mounts(lca/uca mounts, shackle boxes, etc.)
    new exhaust
lifting the rear a bit more for full weight leveling.

cant think of the whole list but im sure there will be more to come.
Watch your backhoe, I'm the John Deere man.
