Totally doing the 2x4 first and then welding 2x6 to that i'm just not sure where/how i want to tie it into the unibody.

I think i'll make some custom brackets that stay up high and go from the 2x6 to the unibody for extra support. I don't like the idea of impact getting transfers into the 2x4 and then into the stock rockers.

that's the guy i bought the tubing from and what i plan on doing with mine. you'll have to look for his other posts but he shows more of what he did, took him a weekend to do both sides. simple but useful.

I'm in need to find some that can weld some up for me. The only rot left on my HEEP is the in rocker. But the outer rockers are solid WTF.
