  • Operation Enduring Realness II - July 31st - August 2nd

Ok here it is folks, our big annual event. Operation Enduring Realness II. Otherwise known as OER II.

For those of you who could not make it to last years, or were simply not a part of the club yet, we were with Low Range magazine for the duration of the event. The run consists of an all-weekend wheeling run to Rausch Creek ORP with a club-wide care package assembled to send overseas to deployed units. Nica has offered to step up and handle everything associated with this years carepackage so everyone should extend a big thanks to her.
Our package will most likely find its way to SiS members deployed overseas at the time (Shane) and some other branch/unit of my choosing, most likely Marine Corps deployed to FOBs.

The run will take place over Friday, July 31st to Sunday, August 2nd.
When the time draws more near, I will post up a detailed explanation/list of what everyone should consider for a military carepackage for overseas if you have never done this before. It is easy and not expensive. (ADDED BELOW NOW.)

Here is our video from last year's run. http://www.heavymetalconcept.com/enduring.html

It is also REQUIRED for you to participate in this carepackage compilation for run attendance. DO NOT SHOW UP TO THIS RUN IF YOU DO NOT PLAN TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE CARE PACKAGE.

I am going to see about coverage for the event in the meantime, but if all else fails you all may just have HMC covering it (aw so bad right? )

If anyone has any questions, feel free to post up here.

There is NO rig limit on this run, we will split into manageable group sizes. All passengers and drivers must bring something for the package. That is all there is to it.

Everyone please donate 3-5 dollars with your care package addition, it is to cover flat rate shipping overseas as it is not cheap to send all this. this was a major complication last year we didnt account for. thank you!
This ALL will be collected the run weekend.

Basically if you don't bring stuff for the care package, don't even bother showing up yourself.

Last time we split up into groups and it seemed to work out well, so as Will stated, no rig cap.

Oh and In thought I regret to inform that I will be arriving Friday Night and miss a day of wheeling.
