very strange turn signal issue

My rear signals are really goofy as of late.

Left turn signal front is peachy....rear will occasionally to quite often blink both sides.


Right turn signal flashes only the right side but really fast (like when you lose a bulb) ....hazard circuit works fine. Suggestions? Kinda seeing a trend as the relay or the signal switch....but if either of those are bad would it really make it that goofy?

The switch in the column is bad is my guess. I had to replace mine it was like $40

Mine does this just different. In the spring when I hit the brakes the parking lights turn on.

Make sure the grounds are good.
If it has a bad ground it might send the power through other lights looking for gound.

We have seen this issues on certain cars, like brake lights that will light up every light etc.

yeah i checked that stuff out pretty extensively actually. all seemed well, plugged in a new relay and seems to be good so far. which of course is a huge plus because i HATE chasing electrical gremlins

hmm relay replaced, was good for a day back to doing it in the rear signals again. signals all work at normal speed however. guess i have to chase some wiring.
