    Jeep won't heat up

    Recently did new water pump and thermo....had heat for awhile afterwards, put the bumper/tie ins, winch, and a 3" on it.....now it's acting like there's no thermostat in it, could the thermo really have gone bad and gotten stuck open already?

      Heat up, the gauge rises to almost 210....flip the switch, drops to almost 100. Heats blows a little hot

        Do you have the correct antifreez mixture? Bad thermostat I had one go bad in my boat a month after putting it in

          Overheated last night on highway in NJ coming back from jets game....blew the lower hose....in bumper to bumper traffic....duct tape and a PBR can got us home.....didn't do it again after that

              Flushed it AGAIN. Blew out more brown murky shit.....starting to think previous owner had a love affair with radiator stop leak.....
