  • anyone trim their front inner fender?

I am wondering if anyone cut their inner fenders up front. The front side.
I need to trim mine and make some more space, and am trying to do it without relocating the battery and pcm, at least for now.
I have found one thread on another forum, but just wondering if anyone here had done it.
I only need another inch or so of uptravel in the front, and thats whats stopping me.
    Dan.

The front part of the inner fender? I was thinking about doing it to mine. Theres a few threads and TNT makes a "kit" to do it too. You could get an Optima and lay it on its side and get a battery mount.

I was thinking of doing that too. If im going to go through the hassle of remounting the battery, it will just go in the back, which it will at some point, but for now I need some room. I saw t&t makes the panels, and the price isnt bad, just not ready to move the battery yet.
Heres the only other write up I have found, which is probably all I need

I like.the idea of clearancing them. Seems way easier then removing them

Yeah, especially being I need like an inch or so. Down the road thongs will have to get moved around but for now it should do the trick.
I'm gonna look at it some today and if I do anything ill take pics.
