gonna be selling the jetta ... I want something a little more ME, lol...
this is what it is...
2004 jetta TDI 5 speed manual transmission
has 222k miles, but it's a diesel so that's nothing for these cars!
just had a bunch of work done to it ...
new timing belt and water pump
new struts all around
new balljoints
new wheel bearings and front hubs
body shows its age but has no rust whatsoever...needs one wheel replaced I believe the rim is slightly warped or bent...it was a spare tire.
the clutch works fine and the turbo spools perfectly... car hauls ass!
has heated seats and banging factory stereo
has sunroof, doesn't leak at all!
what it needs...
new temp sensor( sometimes works sometimes doesn't)
needs alignment( because I replaced balljoints and struts and hubs) not a Major one but it needs it( recommended anyways after this type of service)
I am going to order and replace the upper strut caps for fronts because I was sent the wrong ones and they don't fully clamp the strut properly so it makes a little noise over bumps but it's not unsafe to drive just makes noise over hard bumps
new rim for tire... currently a spare tire in front
all in all the car runs excellent and I always maintain my vehicles and don't abuse them
this would be an axcellent car for college student or someone who needs economical ride to work(gets around 40mpg)
located in meriden CT and has clean CT title
I am asking $2800.00 for the car or possibly trade for a good condition stock Jeep Wrangler , or a pickup truck
