  • some front flares

Well I have enough problems with my jeep without having to worry about getting pulled over for tires outside of fenders. I'm looking for some xj (96 and older) or some rear TJ flares I can put on the front. I'm not gunna worry about the rears. Anyone have anything?

i know you say you dont want newer flares

            but i have a set from a 99

they will work nicely. the only fitment issue is they don't go down to the front airdam thing. but if yo uare still running that airdam thing with the jay leno bumper you is a noob.

buy me dinner or something and they are yours

wuts the airdam? that stupid thing that runs under the bumper? That was ripped off long ago.

Do you think they will look weird? I searched around even on JF and I couldn't find anyone who has run them. Plus I cut out a decent amount, I hope any factory flares fit at all.

they are just a little more rounded off and end at where the 97+ bumper endcaps meet it.

and i will tell you this: they will look better than tj flares

95 XJ, 98 XJ front bumper, Rubi rear flares on front, sport tj rear flares rear. The fronts took alot to get them to look right But the rears just looked like ass. I wish i hadent done them. If you take your time doing the tj rear flares up front they will work, self tappers and big ass fenders washers but in all honesty id just take sams and do that. less hassle.

Yeah I just want to make it look like I at least made an effort to cover the tires. But I can't find any pictures of anyone who's done it using new style xj flares on an old style xj. Maybe I'll start a new trend lol.
