  • tube fenders for a WJ? need help

looking for ideas or opinions on how to go about this...i have no real reason for needing them right now other than i just want to make them but if i ever run 35's id like to keep my lift and make it work...

anyhow this is the only thing somewhat close i've seen so far and im not crazy about it:

is it possible to work off the stock fender? beef it up and weld right off of it? not sure how to go about it really

IIRC, sam was thinking about doing this on his xj, similar design, but i think the main thing was to take the fender off, and do what this guy did.

Yea you can leave the factory fender and cut it way up and line the outsides with tube..Or remake the entire fender as you see in these pics.
