  • Creepy crawlers Vs Treps

I'm looking at ordering a set of 37/12.5s for my grand but can't decide between these two tires, I like the aggressiveness of the treps but don't like that they are directional it seems like they would do a bit better in the muddy rocks than the creepies.
But the creepy crawlers are non-directional and have more tread from the factory.

    Price isn't a factor as its a 10 dollar a tire difference.

But those won't clear my brakes nor do they make 8X170 15" rims and my pumpkin will hit everything.

I'm debating just jumping to 40s. Because fuck logic. They will clear with a three inch lift right?

Those D50 inner shafts that conveniently neck to to 30 spline right before they go into the pumpkin will be really happy with 40s I'm sure.

I am running 5-6" lift with aggressive bumpstops and 39s and they rub everything. I'm pry a little narrower though.

                Stick with 37" Creepies IMO

                  Sarcasm.

But every where in the country is sold out of 37 and 38s. And I would like to order this week as I hope to have it on its own weight next week. So that brings the choices to 37 radial treps and iroks. Honestly not sure which one would be better.
$1600 vs $1300 but the treps come on rims.

Have you ever ran Iroks? I ran Iroks honestly not the best tire ive had, but definetly hooked up when i needed it. Im sure new they are better in the wet.

With that being said, Id run the Treps or Creepys if your looking at a nonsticky

My issue is the treps would be radials.

I can't find a tire I like and is reasonable $1500 is the budget with rims. The creepy and treps in bias are on back order for months according to maxxis. Trep radials can be here in time for me to get them mounted and on my rig for the end of the week. Same with iroks

And I am kind of worried about the radials side wall.

Crawlers are out, Nittos I will look into, but Dan really recommends the trep radials and I'm willing to take his advice on them.
