  • What are you drinking (alcohol)?

I got the idea from this thread on pirate:
    http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/gener...vs-1792-a.html

After reading this thread I went out and got some Elijah Craig due to the reviews. It will be my "go to" at home for now.

    So far I have tried:

Basil Hayden's (love it... just too expensive for my poor ass)
Blanton's (Don't remember but I was told i tried it...)
Gentleman Jack (meh... compared to others)
Bulleit (Delicious... my go to at the bar)
Makers Mark (runner up at the bar)
High West (not bad... my buddy drinks it and if he is, I will)
High West Oat Whiskey (not bad after a few others but damn is it weird if you're sober)

As for other drinks I love:

    Harvest Moon Hooch
    • Ole' Smokey Apple Pie MoonShine
    • Cranberry juice
    • Ginger ale
    • Lime sour

    Hendricks Sling
    • Lemon Wedge
    • cucumber slices
    • Hendricks Gin
    • Elderflower Liqueur
    • Sierra mist

    So what are your favorites??

I prefer a special blend brewed only in a deep cave in abu dhabi by buddhist monks, it then sits for 14 years aging to the perfect taste. it is not sold in any stores anywhere, and you can only receive it via invite only. only the people with the most refined taste can appreciate it, and if you cant, then you dont know what good alcohol is! Oh and it does not have a name. "Names" are for alcoholic drinks the peons and petty underlings enjoy after their day of labor.

Bulleit is my go to bourbon. Blanton's and Bulleit's Ten Year are both great, but rich for my blood. Elijah Craig is a good one too for the price, as is Four Roses and Buffalo Trace. I believe Four Roses Distellery makes Bulleit. Never thought any of Jack Daniels was that great.

Josh try Tin Cup next time you are at the store. A little bit more expensive than Bulleit, but it's a good change.

Beer I've been drinking High Life Bottles more than anything.....

Martinis also pop up from time to time...Titos ftw there

If I have a drink once a month that would be about it, but when I do it's always beer. Not a liquor guy at all. I enjoy a good stout like Goose Island Brewery Bourbon County Stout.

Recently I've been buying Wild Turkey 81 or Jim Beam. Not bad at all on the rocks and cheap enough you can mix with it. Bulleit is a go to also. When I want something to splurge on I typically go with Basil Hayden's. As far as hard alcohol goes I drink whiskey/bourbon 99% of the time.

For beer, I drink Keystone or Coors light and I love fall/octoberfest beers. Not too big a fan of all the IPAs these days but I'll enjoy one from time to time.

97 TJ that I think is pretty neat.

                              We have similar tastes.

                              Pete... thanks for the recommendation!

                              Very good!
